Pour répondre à la demande croissante de matériaux d'emballage produits de manière durable, Metsä Board a annoncé l'année dernière un investissement visant à augmenter de 200.000 tonnes la capacité de production annuelle de carton pour boîtes pliantes de son usine de Husum, en Suède. Les travaux sont en cours et le démarrage de la nouvelle machine à carton est prévu pour l'automne 2023, la pleine capacité de production devant être atteinte à la fin de 2025.
