Lady Gaga has used the press tour for her new film House of Gucci as an opportunity to not only go extra glam with her fashion choices (we're still thinking about that dramatic purple Gucci dress she wore in London), but to also experiment with a wide variety of hairstyles. She's worn her hair half up with a '60s-style bouffant, long with feathery bangs, in Old Hollywood-style waves, and pinned up in an updo with blunt fringe. But it's the sleek blond bob that she wore to the Los Angeles premiere of the film on Thursday night - the last stop on the cast's whirlwind press tour - that has really gotten our attention.
The short style, which resembles the bixie haircut trend, was chosen by Gaga and her hairstylist Frederic Aspiras to complement her stunning Valentino Haute Couture gown that was covered entirely with iridescent silver sequins. The chin-length bob, which featured short, side-swept bangs that were tucked behind Gaga's ears and ends that very slightly curled inwards, was also a strategic choice that helped show off her long diamond earrings and matching choker.
This is not the first time we've seen Lady Gaga try out short hair, and we're confident it won't be the last (and seeing as we know Gaga and Aspiras like to experiment with wigs, we're pretty sure that's what this hairstyle switch-up is, versus a chop). But there's something about the sleek silhouette and the pale blond color against the silver sequins of the dress that makes this look super striking.
